Guidelines for Facial Photographs
For telephone consultations, the following views are requested in order for Wendy to answer your questions and provide recommendations for you.
- Full-face front on shot
- Full-face front on smiling shot
- Left profile
- Right profile
NO makeup should be worn, and all hair should be pinned back off the face. Photos should be at least 4" x 6", either matte or glossy finish, preferably in color. Digital images may also be accepted via e-mail. Each image should be sized to at least 4" x 6" prior to e-mailing, and transmitted as .JPG IMAGES AT 72 DPI individually, or all together in a zip file. Wendy Lewis & Co. uses a PC platform. If you use a Mac, and cannot encode a zip file containing all the photos in one file, you will have to send each image separately.

The photographs required for the surgery itself are photographed to a much higher standard of accuracy, detail, angle and lighting than normal portrait style photos. Surgeons use the photos as a guide or "road map" during the operation. The photographs are important and all surgeons will require them before and after every surgical procedure.
It is often recommended that you bring along photographs of yourself at age 25 or 30 for patients interesting in facial rejuvenation procedures. If you have had previous surgery and are in need of revision or correction, pre op and post op photographs from your various procedures will also be helpful to both Wendy, as well as any surgeons she refers you to.
